Smoke on the Water was huge, a big effort, a huge success and completely exhausting. We did it – follow the FB page smokeonthewater2017 (still quite active) and http://www.smokeonthewater2017.com.au.
So now I am lying low as I go through a healing journey for a sarcoma cancer in my thigh.
New directions, vessels, strong shapes, and colours. Slowly and carefully exploring new directions to excite and inspire. Using resists, bold bright colours, on coil built/slab built vessels. Some have been shown at the Brisbane Grammar School, good feedback from them, and then Jackie Gassons 50 Vessels Show at the Nambour Amno Station was a huge success, dovetailing into Spring Fever. Plans for next year to put these decorated works into a salt kiln at Jackies….
Looks inspiring Ellen – all the best
